Since 1955, the Prescott Family has been leading the waterworks industry with the belief that customer service is second to none. Those beliefs have been passed down through five generations of family lineage.
The Prescott name will continue to be synonymous with waterworks industry knowledge and expertise for generations to come.

Our History
Founded Team EJP
1955
Founded in Gardiner, Maine, Team EJP was the first waterworks distributor north of Massachusetts; we offered water-main tapping and installation and underground boring.
Service Work
1957
Team EJP is the first provider of service work!
Excellent Service
1960
Team EJP is the first to promise (and deliver) 24-Hour Emergency Service.
Tremendous Growth
1970
EJP opens first two branches in Concord, New Hampshire and Montpelier, Vermont.
Launches Quality Water Products
1978
Team QWP (Quality Water Products) launches and provides leading-edge products for water and wastewater industries.
New Concept Tools Joins
1978
Team NCT (New Concept Tools) begins manufacturing and distributing superior waterworks tools.
Continued Growth
1980
Opened six new branches and the creation of two companies, PEP Transportation and Meter Backflow Services (MBS).
Branch Expansion
1990
Additional branches opened in Maine, Indiana, Ohio, and Massachusetts.
Garden State
1994
EJP expands into Rhode Island, opening a new branch.
Value Added Service
1994
Team EJP establishes the Value Added Service (VAS) program and adds the first customer.
Buckeye State
1995
EJP opens new facility in Ohio.
1st New York Office
1997
EJP opens its first branch in New York.
2nd New York
2000
EJP celebrates the new millennium by opening a second facility in New York.

Team EJP makes a strong dedication to safety by adding a full-time safety director!
Distribution & Manufacturing
2001
Purchased Red Hed Supply & Manufacturing and is still operating as a Red Hed facility.
Green Mountain State
2002
South Burlington, Vermont is home to a new EJP location.
OSHA Outreach
2002
EJP expands the safety team to include the first authorized OSHA outreach trainer.
Showcasing Safety
2003
Team EJP's first SHARP-designated facility continues to showcase the importance of safety.
Highlighting Education
2006
The University of Prescott is founded; a paid waterworks apprenticeship that prepares students for an exciting career in waterworks with the most dynamic company in the industry.
Sister Company Growth
2008
Team EJP continues to grow by adding a fourth sister company, Plastic Pipe Fabrication (Team PPF). A company that will focus on custom fabrication of HDPE structures and PVC piping systems.
Established Team SEP
2020
To better serve customers with specifications, estimating, project management, and more, the Team SEP division is established.
Technology in Waterworks
2023
Team EJP continues to value the importance of technology in the waterworks industry and the capabilities that it unlocks for municipalities and utilities. Thus, EJP launches a new division, Smart Utility Professionals.
Opens in Huber Heights, Ohio
2023
Team EJP West Carrollton, Ohio, moves to a new location in Huber Heights, Ohio.
Phoenix, New York Opens
2024
Team EJP Syracuse, New York, moves to a new location in Phoenix, New York.
Roots Planted in Caribou, Maine
